Shelby Styles Review & Giveaway

I found a lovely little shop on facebook and just had to share it with everyone. Shelby Styles is a store that sells beautiful handcrafted hair clips and accessories for your little ones. These hair clips and hats are so adorable, it makes me wish I were younger. I think my head would be to big for the hats but I believe us adults can wear the flower clips too. Take a look at this precious bow for spring.

The owner was nice enough to send me a little gift pack of my own. The headband and hair clips were soooo cute. Two beautiful little girls modeled them for everyone to see. Not only did we get a gift pack, Shelby Styles is sending a Mystery Prize Pack to one of my lucky readers.

Last week I didn't post anything for friday because, honestly, I was to sad. This week, I'm sharing something special rather then funny. Stuart's vet sent us a beautiful sympathy card with a poem on it. This poem, to me, sounds like it was written about Stuart. Although, I'm sure anyone who loves their cat as much as I did, can relate to this poem as well. Here's a picture of the card. I'll rewrite the poem underneath.

Gentle eyes that see so much,

paws that have the quiet touch,

Purrs to signal all is well

and show more love than words can tell.

Graceful movements touched with pride,

a calming presence by our side,

A friendship that takes time to grow,

small wonder why we love them so.

Meridane Design Review & Giveaway

My Stuart In The Hospital

On the weekend, my cat Stuart got very sick all of a sudden. He was apparently holding toxins, crystals and blood in his bladder and couldn't go to the washroom. It seemed like it came out of nowhere but it must have been building up for quite some time. Almost killing him, my heart has been in my stomach all week. I want to share this information because I've been hearing that this is a common problem in male cats. People need to know that their diet is a very serious thing. All these brands of food that are made out to be healthy, are not. My cats hate the healthy food but I think they're just going to have to try because I don't ever want to lose them. People have also been giving me tips on how to avoid this illness, so I'm going to list them here.

- buy Hill Science Diet
- canned food is better
- avoid cat food with high Ash content
- give your cat a syringe of one dropper of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar to four tablespoons of bottled water once a week
- avoid fish food content (especially tuna)

Charm Factory Review & Giveaway

Ever since I was a little girl, I've wanted a charm bracelet. Not just any normal charm bracelet though. I wanted one that was beautiful, fun and totally me. Unfortunately, perfect is hard to come by...or was. I found the charm bracelet of my dreams!
